What is a Friend of the Seminary?

St. Mary’s Seminary realized that we needed advocates for our Seminary and seminarians to spread the word of the great work happening at St. Mary’s. We began the Friends of the Seminary group with the motto “Building the Future of Our Church.” The Friends group was instrumental in planning and implementing the first St. Joseph’s Day Festival last spring. This group of friends then began planning the event to celebrate the closing of the 60^th anniversary of the chapel and the future of the Seminary. Without the Friends of the Seminary, these events would have been difficult to implement.

The Friends of the Seminary will be invited to attend an annual Mass at the Seminary followed by a reception attended by our seminarians. The Friends will also receive communications to attend special events during the year at the Seminary. Please consider being a Friend of the Seminary.
