Public Computers: The Beran Library has four public computers. Use of the public computers is reserved for students and faculty of St. Mary's Seminary and/or the UST School of Theology. Priests, deacons, and religious of the diocese, diocesan employees, visiting scholars, and other visitors may use the computers for theological research purposes at the discretion of the librarian.
Wi-Fi: The Beran Library provides free Wi-Fi to students, faculty, and staff of St. Mary's Seminary and the University of St. Thomas. While connected to the wireless internet in the library, patrons may access the online catalog and the subscription databases from the University of St. Thomas.
Printing: The Beran Library offers printing from public computers located on both floors of the library. All printing is black and white and costs $0.05 per page. Patrons may pay a staff member directly or place their money in the print money receptacles provided. Currently, patrons are unable to print from their personal devices.
Scanning/Copying: The library has an overhead scanner located at the circulation desk. Patrons may use the scanner with librarian permission, free of charge, or may ask a librarian to scan items for them. The two patron printers have scanning and copying capabilities. The library does not have a standalone copy machine at this time.
